I want to be like my SON.

Our children are so much like us when they start their life journey. “Like father like son”, “hijo de tigre pintito”. They are just pure and clean, unbreakable. We should all agree on not making our children more like us, but instead focus on us becoming more like them. When they are infants their natural strengths are raw and exposed. If we utilize the simple concept of AWARENESS, we can then make their strengths powerful tools for a brighter future. “Appreciate the Gift” and live with IT. Develop IT. Nurture IT. ‪#‎itsnotaboutus‬

My Son; I love how honest and sincere he is. How loving he is, we need more of that, more hugs and affection to others…I love how goal and target oriented he is. How disciplined he can be. I really want to be more like him, so one day he can be more like me, him. And I also want to move like him, lol! Fitness happens to be my life and business, he (Santiago) and I have been doing a mobility session every night for the past 6 weeks. He is my Sensei there. I will ask him to show me a move, and I will try to mimic it as much as possible. We play, laugh and keep moving and challenging each other, it’s Fun! My goal is to move somewhat like him, just even a little bit like him. If I do that, my mobility would be amazing! This kid is so flexible and strong! And I want to learn more from him, his strengths. So he does the same from me and my strengths will be his.

I do know in the end we both have backup, Him. “Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down in size – abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Him take over! And so the weaker I get, the STRONGER I become.”
